Wading with the Wilkens'

June 22, I went to the Caney with Glenn and Levi Wilkens.  Glenn and I used fly rods and Levi used a spinning rod.  Fishing was slow, I had a couple of fish on but lost both and finally caught a decent Rainbow, that was it.  This was Glenn's first time in almost 35 years, no fish but a lot of experience.  Levi tried the fly rod but stuck with the spinning rod and caught 8 at the trough before the bluffs using a split shot and worms.  It will hard to get him to try the fly rod again, I'm sure.
