I went to the Caney this morning for a couple of hours, started below the dam at 8;00 till about 10.  I caught two yellow bass quick and a couple of small rainbows later.  The water was stained maybe from the sluice?  Not many fishing. I have been a couple of other times this summer with no luck at all.  I got my River Hawke set up with two depth finders and trolling motor and the 20 hp Mercury is running good so I am hoping to get it out this week.
